Hampshire Soap Workshops

Where are the workshops held?

All workshops take place in my private studio in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

The full address will be provided in your booking confirmation email.

Is there parking available?

Yes — there is free parking available on the driveway and surrounding road.

Please allow plenty of time for your journey and parking, as workshops begin promptly.

What time should I arrive?

Workshops begin at the stated start time (usually 11am).

To ensure a smooth and relaxed start for everyone:

  • Please do not arrive early
  • We allow a maximum of 5 minutes after the start time

Unfortunately, late arrivals beyond this cannot be admitted.

What will I make during the workshop?

You will create your own batch of traditional cold process soap — approximately 10 bars to take home, which can last many months.

This is a fully hands-on, guided experience using natural ingredients.

How long does the workshop last?

Each workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.

What should I wear?

For safety and comfort, please wear:

  • Flat, closed-toe shoes
  • A long-sleeved top
  • Hair tied back if possible

Protective goggles are provided for a small part of the session.

Are there any allergy considerations?

Yes — we work with a variety of oils, including nut oils.

If you have any allergies or concerns, please contact us before booking.

Can I bring someone with me to watch?

Workshops are for paid participants only.

We’re unable to accommodate spectators due to space and safety.

Is there an age limit?

Workshops are suitable for ages 14 and over.

Can I book as a group?

Yes — private group bookings are very welcome for birthdays, hen parties, and special occasions.

Please get in touch via email to arrange -

Can I speak to someone on the phone about the workshops?

As a small, very busy, hands-on business, I’m not always able to offer phone calls.

If you have a specific question not covered, I’m always happy to assist via email - debra@hampshiresoap.com

Do you offer support or mentoring after the workshop?

Once the workshop has finished, the session is considered complete and we’re unable to offer ongoing mentoring or follow-up support.
