Step into a world of festive wonder and join Hampshire Soap School & Apothecary for the most magical workshop of the year.
As Christmas approaches, our Soap School is transformed into a festive apothecary filled with twinkling lights, fragrant spices, dried oranges, seasonal botanicals and the comforting scents of Christmas.
Inspired by Victorian Christmas traditions and old-world apothecaries, this special seasonal experience is designed for those who love to create meaningful handmade gifts. Rather than rushing through the shops, you’ll spend a few cosy hours crafting beautiful Christmas soaps by hand—perfect for gifting to family and friends or keeping as a special treat for yourself.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll create a luxurious batch of traditional cold process soap inspired by the season, working with festive fragrances, warming spices and decorative botanicals that capture the magic of Christmas.
With Christmas music softly playing, mince pies on the table and a warm cup in hand, this experience is designed to feel like a festive gathering rather than a traditional class.
I will guide you step-by-step through the traditional cold process soap making method, sharing the techniques I have used to create Hampshire Soap products enjoyed across Hampshire and beyond.
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with approximately 10 bars of your own handmade Christmas soaps, beautifully suited for gifting during the festive season.

Free parking available at the Chandlers Ford studio.
Romsey town centre public parking is available within a short walk of the Apothecary.

As our workshops are planned and booked several months in advance, we kindly ask that you read the following carefully before booking.
Cancellations – Christmas Workshops Only
Cancellations made with 14 days’ notice or more are eligible for a workshop credit only, to be used against a future date.
Please note that no monetary refunds are available.
Date Changes
If you need to change your Christmas workshop date, we require a minimum of 14 days’ notice. Date changes are subject to availability.
As a small family-run business, last-minute changes greatly affect our ability to fill places. Your understanding helps us continue to offer thoughtfully run workshops and seasonal experiences.
